Shutting off warning lights on new Audi/VW autos.?

chalupas_and_beer ask this question a couple days ago and the answers were weak. What you need is a vagcom from Ross Tech. With this diagnostic tool which you connect to the obd-II and a laptop. You can read/reset all fault codes. And you can modify certain parameters. Such as turning off DRL, Remote window lowering, or log engine stats. It costs $150 and is worth every penny. You could also borrow one, TDIclub.com has a list of registered vagcom users who are willing to help. I know this is not a question but the previous answers did not answer the question. The correct answer is Vagcom.

  1. Yeah I feel like a Ross-tech salesman everytime I have to answer a stinkin CEL question because I have to do it every other time, and nobody listens. Its not a legit question posting but kudos anyway.
